JumpTime is designed to create an ongoing relationship between a young adult, high school or college student, and an elementary or middle school student. JumpTime provides cross age youth academic peer mentoring to youth ages 7 through 18 years old.
We provide experienced academic mentors to support, encourage, and academically guide the students through their academic journey, supporting them in mentorship with their schoolwork and assignments. Our mission is to improve the student’s self esteem, grades and overall scholastic engagement.
Our JumpTime mentors and mentees are paired based on some shared characteristics or such as age, ability, interests and or academic excellence and need.
Our cross-age youth peer mentoring program is organized in collaboration with our local partner schools and community mentoring agencies who work with at risk and foster youth throughout Los Angeles County.
